George Sharp: When my power wheelchair quit in the rain, these two rescued me
I want to give a big thank you to the two gentlemen who stopped at the bus stop at Carver Road and Joann Avenue on Oct. 28. These two men pulled over in pouring rain to see if I needed help. For the first time in 30 years as a power wheelchair user, I needed the help in the worst way. My chair had quit working and these two men were gracious enough to push me home in the rain.
I would truly like to find these men to thank them again for saving me from at least getting sick. One the of guys was wearing a Pepsi jacket, so he may work for Pepsi. If anyone knows who they are, please have them respond to this letter.
