Clifford Brodie: Election’s over, now lets get rid of those ugly candidate signs

Now that the general election is over, what action is being taken to get rid of the glut of Jeff Denham’s election posters that are blighting the roadways all over the cities and towns of the 10th Congressional District? Whose obligation is it to remove these eyesores and, for that matter, the other signs advocating propositions and candidates? If the candidates and proponents fail to do so in a timely manner, I would suggest each city or town take care of this and bill these candidates and proponents for the cost of the removal.

Clifford Brodie, Modesto
