Diane Kroeze: Thanks, Hillary, for all you have done to help others and lower barriers
Thank you for all you have done for the United States and its people. You have worked diligently to further our safety and prestige in the world. Your record in helping women, children and others in need during your life is well documented. You have great empathy.
I and others sympathize with you for the pain you must feel because of the attacks the Republicans have consistently carried out on your judgment, character and family. You’ve been described as a domineering woman by men, yet you just keep going steadily forward. That shows your strength, mental endurance and indomitable work ethic. Those characteristics are who you are, I think.
What we women would call strong and capable, men and some women would call names that really only define them – not you.
Your story, hopefully, will be a beacon that all girls and women should follow to further their dreams and aspirations. Thank you for the now broken glass ceiling and what you endured to break it. The next glass barrier won’t be quite as hard to break for those who follow.
