James LaGrone: Do our votes count in Electoral College can invalidate them?
The letter “Words a danger to our democracy” (Nov. 9), states “I respect the democratic process and the will of the people.” I would like to point out that for the second time since 2000, the “will of the people” is being ignored. In the year 2000, Al Gore beat George W. Bush by 537,000 votes. This week, Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump by 395,050 votes with at least 3 million votes left to count in California. There is something wrong in our country’s process of electing a president. Everyone’s vote should count!
