Leslie Shaw Klinger: Go Modesto app worked; city fixed a problem within 70 hours

Recently, I had to report a need for repair to a gate at Ustach Park. I used the Go Modesto! app for the first time. I was able to take a picture of the gate and submit it to the proper city department in a matter of minutes. For the next three days I received regular updates of where the submission was in the system. Within 70 hours of initial contact, the issue was properly dealt with and the repair was made.

Kudos to the City of Modesto for this innovative idea. It was fast; it was convenient, and it felt good to be a part of a very practical solution to a problem that, if not dealt with, could have lead to real problems. Thank you!
