Eric Julien: Turlock schools must update 50-, 60-year-old buildings

The Turlock Unified School District’s Board of Education has a long history of being fiscally conservative. The projects scheduled in Measures N and O are all necessary improvements, especially for 50- and 60-year old buildings that need to be modernized. These bonds will provide for a safer environment on our school campuses, technology upgrades so our students are better prepared for the workplace or college, and replace temporary buildings that have been well maintained past their useful life.

The TUSD administration will pursue every available source of funding, including developer fees and matching funds from the state of California. Please join me in voting yes on Measures N and O!
