Mary Jackson: Rojas can be relied on to get the job done for YCCD
I have volunteered in different capacities in Turlock and Stanislaus County for more than 10 years. I am proud to be supporting Abe Rojas for the Yosemite Community College District board, area 3. As a current educator and former community college instructor, I know how important it is to have smart, forward-thinking board members to guide our community colleges in Modesto and Columbia. His 20-plus years of service are a testament to his commitment to assisting many area students become the first in their families to attend college. Abe is a hard worker on the Salvation Army board. He is not only there at board meetings but always assists with selling tickets, raising money and setting up and cleaning up. Abe is one who can be relied on to get the job done.
