Bill Berryhill: Ken Vogel understands our most important issue – water
Many people have asked me this election why I so strongly support Ken Vogel for state Assembly. My answer is simple. Water, water, water. While I served in the Assembly from 2008 to 2012, water was my main issue. And when it came to water, Ken Vogel was my go-to official in San Joaquin County.
As a county supervisor and farmer, Ken Vogel has been fighting this water war for a long time and gained the knowledge and experience our district so desperately needs.
Ken has raised the majority of his money from within the district, while his opponent has raised the majority of his money from special interests in Sacramento. The very same special interests who want to steal our water. That is why Ken Vogel has been endorsed by over 50 elected officials in this district. If water is “worth the fight,” Ken Vogel is worth our vote.
