Clarence Blom: Don’t tax kids who haven’t even been born yet
Measure L discriminates against our underage voting population. Our newborn population will have a name, address and a pothole tax bill for 25 years. They do not know what a pothole is. Vote no.
The better way to repair pot holes is to go to the source of damage to our road ways, the fuel pump. It provides gasoline, diesel and electricity to all vehicles that use our roads; they’re causing pot holes. Charge the proper amount based on how much the vehicle travels. The tax collector gets no fees from the general sales tax laws.
The promoters of Measure L belong in Hillary’s basket of deplorables – wanting to tax unborn United States citizens for 25 years.
