Elaine D. Ixcot: Negative campaigns are all we get, even for local offices
I am so disappointed in this presidential election campaign. And that is saying it nicely, so it can be put into print. Whatever happened to voting for whomever is best suited for the presidency? Voting for who can do the best job for our country, or the good things about the candidates? All I am seeing and hearing is negative and a total tear-down of the opponent. Leaving us to try to determine who is the best ... or the worst. Also sad is it is spilling over into our local campaigns. It leaves me to wonder if this is becoming the norm? I hope not.
