Paul Troop: Denham misplaces blame for National Guard bonus clawback efforts
As veteran of the U.S. military, Jeff Denham should be very aware of the Department of Defense’s ability to make poor decisions regarding active-duty servicemen. Decisions such as the attempts to take back bonus payments are made deep in the bowels of the bureaucracy in a windowless room devoid of fresh air and common sense. Denham needs to breath some fresh air and stop blaming the administration, i.e. the president, and place the blame where it belongs – the faceless bureaucracy
