Don Cunningham: Life could be better if people were more responsible

There is so much sadness in the news. Most of these awful incidents are preventable. I think of the problems we have with drunk driving “accidents” involving innocent people. I think of the lack of attention and caring for innocent youth. There is one word that would help prevent these happenings: responsibility. One of the best examples of safety would not be installing all the safety features in modern cars, but “installing” safety in the attitudes of all drivers. Each everyday action still depends on each one of us acting responsibly for the sake of ourselves and others.
