Dan Dean: Don’t let election tear us apart; we are better when we are together
In troubled times, it is good to remember who we are as a people. Know that we are one. We stand as a people. We fall when apart. We are a people of compassion, courage and occasional bits of wisdom and humor. We are a people who have struggled and yet a people who triumph in our diversity of color, faith, culture and nationalities. Life is like a kaleidoscope that is forever changing and beautiful and we are each a sparkle in its view. Look upon the beauty of our life and feel gifted and blessed. Let us together wipe away the tarnish of our wars and see just how beautiful life can be shining as one.
