David K. Ford: Bee provides public service, tells us how NOT to vote

Hooray! It’s finally here! The Bee editors study the candidates and propositions then print their consensus of how we uninformed, low-information, soft-headed or otherwise too busy voters should cast our ballots on election day. They’ve really done us a huge favor with their list this time. I am certain it took a lot of hard work, countless hours of studying and reading Huffington Post and the New York Times, not to mention watching CNN – (Clinton News Network) and MSNBC’s talking heads telling them what to think and whom to endorse.

Such a nice public service for us donut-holes. The Bee editors have done all the hard work once again, and by golly, this voter is thankful! So clip the article or take a pic on your smartphone then go to the polls and vote the exact opposite of their recommendations.

As always, every single one of their picks is wrong. If you want your state and country to get turned around and start going the right way, vote no if they say yes. The candidates they name – you want the other guy (especially for president). So thank you Modesto Bee editorial board for making my voting easy and fun. Get out and vote!

David K. Ford, Manteca
