Jack Heinsius: Republican are a train wreck; give Eggman chance in Congress
It’s a sad fact that the once great Republican Party is reaping the results of eight years of obstructionist and anti-progressive policies at home and abroad. By appealing to the worst angels of their party, the Republicans have created the Trump Frankenstein which threatens to wreck not only the party but the democratic system which made it possible. Like some losing ball teams, it is time for this party to enter into a rebuilding phase. Meantime some new players deserve a turn at bat. Michael Eggman is a case in point.
