Alfa Broderick: Trump is the best Republican Party can offer? Really?
It’s so hard to understand the behavior of the Republican aspirant to the presidency of our country! His general demeanor, more noticeably now as a candidate for the highest public office not only in this nation but even the whole world, is unacceptable!
I can’t even believe the disrespect, ignorance, bad manners, insults and lies that seem to be an innate part of his personality. Sexual misbehavior (groping, insulting and disparaging women) is by no means the conduct expected from a candidate, let alone the president of the most respected nation in the world! In a country where the majority of people have always provided the greatest examples of civility and good behavior toward others, is that all the Republican Party was capable of offering? Lincoln, Washington and other really good patriots must be turning over in their tombs.
My question: When did our country, and the Republican Party in particular, fall so low in decency and decorum that a person with the morals and demeanor of this candidate was all they could come up with?
