Christine DeMont: Don’t vote for the lesser evil, write in someone else
I speak with so many people who tell me they will vote for him to stop her or the other way around. As the “world’s largest democracy,” we should not vote for one candidate to stop another. The winner of two abysmal choices should not be given a false sense of voter approval. The only way to ensure that in future elections we are given candidates we can believe in and be proud of is to refuse to vote for a horrible candidate.
But we still need to vote! Write in your choice or vote for a third-party candidate. Send a message to the political halls of power that we will not be conned into voting for a bad choice because the other choice is worse.
