Gene Dias: Prop 63 would make something I bought legally illegal

The Constitution of the United States forbids making a law that makes some illegal after it was done. anything that was legal illegal at the time it was done, i.e., ex post facto laws. Article 6 clause 3 also states that “all” elected officials shall be bound by oath to to uphold the Constitution!

Perhaps all of our elected officials should read the document they all have sworn to uphold! Proposition 63 is unconstitutional because it will make retroactive, purchases and items criminal that were previously legally obtained – if they are not surrendered. There are other parts of this and some of the laws passed by the Democrat-led legislature and signed by Gov. Jerry Brown this year that have been found unconstitutional in years past. I will be governed by Constitutional laws that I do not agree with, but I refuse to be ruled by those that are corrupt and unconstitutional! Vote in person and show your identification, it is not required, but it should be because in a divided nation every vote counts!
