Linda Meyer: But what about the corruption of the Clintons?

You said you cannot abide Donald Trump (“We’ve had it with Trump and his foul act,” Our View, Oct. 11). But you can abide Hillary Clinton. Everyone has to get off their high horse. No excuse for what he said, but – and that’s a big but – how in Washington are they so shocked? Congressmen, senators, newspaper editors are quick to judge. Remember John Kennedy; so beloved. He was the ultimate womanizer. How soon we forget. It didn’t matter what he did.

Ted Kennedy. Chappaquiddick. People today wouldn’t know anything about that. Trump’s words were bad, but the actions of these holier-than-thou Washington hypocrites have no room to talk. Same goes for the far-left newspapers. You print a good editorial for the far left, but you don’t look at the corruption of the Clintons. You don’t look at the actions of Bill Clinton. He is deplorable, to use Hillary’s word. She is protected by the media. We all know that.

There is a saying: People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. You can write whatever you want under my letter, but protecting the corrupt is not good for our country. Shame on you.
