Chris Henry: One solution to the water grab: Secede
What’s created this water problem? Californians voting Democrats into every statewide public office. They alone are responsible for this draconian policy we’re facing. Did the people of the Central Valley vote in these officials? No. We’re a 50/50 community. It’s the large population centers from the Bay down to LA that are responsible for this mess – and we are paying the consequences.
Perhaps it’s time for us to separate ourselves from California. Maybe it’s time we join the north state in forming the state of Jefferson – a state where we can have political balance instead of one-sided corruption like we have now. A state that actually cares about those of us along Highway 99. It’s time to secede.
