Penny Youngblood: A few inches more, and he would have hit her
I’m 75 and I decided to take a walk on the Virginia Corridor path. It was so nice walking with other people until a bicycle almost hit me. He was traveling at a high rate of speed behind me and I didn’t hear him come up behind me. He sped around me and caused me to fall. Fortunately, other people helped me up. If I had stepped to the left even a little he would have really hurt me. He never stopped. Other people on the path said this has become a big problem. Needless to say, I won’t be walking there again .
