Jerry Emery: Deflategate a non-issue; it gets cold, air pressure decreases

How many of us, with newer cars that include tire pressure warnings, have had to increase the tire pressure each and every winter? It’s a reality that, at some time during the winter, we have had to take our cars in for just this reason and learned, from qualified staff, that tires lose air pressure during the winter.

This is exactly the same scientific reality as the so-called “deflate-gate” currently an issue with the NFL. The Patriots coach is correct and he has spent way too much time, energy and personnel on this non-issue. Once guilty does not make forever guilty. Let’s move on and enjoy the game.
