William Bishop: If YouTube is the judge, we’re out of step in America
YouTube is an amazing resource. There you can find tutorials on almost any subject under the sun, from the making of marzipan to hydrogen bombs. YouTube also serves as a excellent gauge of just how close to the singularity we are coming as we continue to circle the drain.
When I was a boy, square dancing was the ticket. To do that, however, required constant awareness of where you were, what you would be doing next, as well as listening for the next call. Today on YouTube, it seems the best one can find are large arrays of long lines of people fancy stepping to music. Some of these “dancers” seem so hard-pressed to know which step to take next that they dare not try to chew gum while stepping. As a patriotic American, I am ashamed to admit the Red Army does a much finer job of it.
