Zachary Sanders: Don’t buy a cat if you won’t take care of it

People of Modesto: How many times have you been driving around town and seen a cat that has been run over by a car on the pavement? Not only is it disgusting and foul looking, it sits there rotting until the city comes and picks it up. We all know how long that takes.

There is an increasing number of feral cats roaming the streets, repopulating time and time again. We need to do something. Don’t get a cat if you have no intention of taking care of it. When one cat gets loose, it ends of turning into 10 feral cats, creating more chances of one being hit with your car. When buying a cat don’t just send it out. It’s not fair to Modesto and it’s not fair to the cat, either. Do us a favor: Don’t buy a cat if you can’t care for it.
