Jason Andrew Divis: Bark saves water, but it’s rough to play in
Re “Grass gives way to bark in test at park” (Page A1, May 6): I would like to inform you that I thought that putting bark in the park instead of grass is a great idea for saving water. However, when I personally go to the park and would much rather play in the grass than in a bunch of bark because it hurts. The bark gives you splinters and gets into your socks. Overall, in the aspect of saving water, this was a great idea; but it won’t be as fun to play in and hang out with your friends.
