Lake wind advisory issued for Kern River Valley until Tuesday night, says the NWS

The NWS Hanford CA issued a lake wind advisory at 9:39 a.m. on Tuesday valid between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. for Kern River Valley.
The NWS informs, "Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph expected."
"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," explains the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
This advisory is in effect until 10 p.m.
