Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra counties under a lake wind advisory

On Friday at 10:12 a.m. the NWS Reno NV issued a lake wind advisory valid from Saturday 2 p.m. until Sunday 11 p.m. for Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra counties.
The NWS informs, "North winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph for Stampede Reservoir, Lake Davis, Antelope Lake, and Eagle Lake."
"Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve," states the NWS. "Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind."
This advisory is in effect until Sunday at 11 p.m.
