An updated lake wind advisory was issued by the NWS Hanford CA on Tuesday at 9:33 p.m. in effect until Wednesday at 8 p.m. for Kern River Valley.

The NWS informs, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," explains the NWS.

This advisory is in effect until Wednesday at 8 p.m.
