Winds could gust as high as 20 mph during the day before “becoming calm after midnight,” the weather service said in its forecast.
Clear skies were expected Friday night, along with a low temperature around 49 degrees.
On Saturday, the city will see a high of 80 with calm winds in the afternoon, according to the weather service.
Saturday night will have a low around 51 and winds of 3 to 6 mph.

Sunday night is expected be clear with the low reaching around 53.

On Monday, temperatures will continue to climb in Modesto.
The high will be 84 and the low will be around 54, the weather service said.
Tuesday will also be sunny with a high near 84 and an overnight low around 51.
The weather will begin cooling down on Wednesday, when the high will near 79 and the nighttime low will be around 49.
Modesto will be mostly sunny on Thursday, the weather service said, predicting a high near 76.
What about the rest of Stanislaus County?
Stanislaus County was expected to see mostly sunny weather with high temperatures reaching the low 80s over the weekend before rising to 85 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, according to The Weather Channel.
The weather website said the region can expect winds of 10 mph or lower.
Chances of rain are very low over the next few days, the Weather Channel said.
