Will there be rain coming to Modesto? What’s in the forecast for the weekend
After several days of high temperatures in the 70s, the weather in the Modesto region is expected to take a dip by the weekend.
Temperatures will return to the low 60s and there’s likely to be some rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Here’s what the weather service is predicting for the coming days:
Expect sunny weather Thursday with a high near 73 and a low around 50 that night.
On Friday, there’s a 20% chance of showers after 11 a.m. The high temperature should be near 72 degrees. The chance of precipitation goes up to 80% Friday night with a low around 48.
Saturday, temperatures are expected to drop, with a high near 62 degrees, There’s a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. The night should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.
The weather system could bring between a half inch and an inch of rain, the forecast says.
It’s expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 63 degrees on Sunday and a low around 45.
