All six bonds measures for Stanislaus County school districts trailed in returns on Wednesday morning.

Voters were rejecting the dual proposals in the Salida Union School District, along with measures in the Stanislaus Union, Patterson Joint Unified, Chatom Union and Newman-Crows Landing Unified school districts.

The statewide school bond, Proposition 13, was faring poorly, as well, with 99 percent of returns showing 56 percent of voters against it.

The Patterson measure would finance rental housing for district employees. The other local bonds are for campus improvements.

All need at least 55 percent approval to pass. Increased property taxes would repay the bonds sold to finance the projects.

The early results are mail ballots received before Election Day. Those cast Tuesday have yet to be tallied.

The numbers so far:

Measure J, Stanislaus Union: This $21.4 million proposal for campus upgrades had support from 48.8 percent of district voters.

Measure K, Newman-Crows Landing: The $35 million campus upgrade package was at 46.2 percent in favor.

Measure L, Salida: Just 42 percent of voters supported the $20 million in campus upgrades.

Measure M, Salida: A different set of campus improvements totaling $24.7 million was also at 42 percent in favor.

Measure N, Patterson: This $32.5 million proposal for teacher and other staff housing had just 34.3 percent in favor.

Meausure O, Chatom: The $10.7 million worth of campus upgrades was at 43.3 percent in favor.
