Government officials and residents will talk about the issues in the region at a town hall meeting Friday in Hughson.

Stanislaus County Supervisor Vito Chiesa will host the town hall starting at 5:30 p.m. at Samaritan Village, at 7700 Fox Road.

Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Elk Grove, Hughson Mayor George Carr and Chiesa are scheduled to speak about regional issues and legislative priorities. It’s a chance for Hughson residents to have concerns addressed and hear directly from their elected officials.

Seating for Friday’s meeting is limited to the facility’s capacity.

Chiesa said in a county news release that he will continue to hold town-hall events to make elected officials accessible to residents.
