People who park their cars in downtown Modesto can weigh in on how the city could better manage its spaces.

This includes an online survey to help the city craft a Downtown Parking Master Plan.

The survey questions include how often people park downtown, how long it takes them to find a space, and whether the time limits are reasonable. Business owners can note whether the parking situation discourages customers. The survey is in English and Spanish.

Downtown has a mix of curbside spaces, parking lots and garages. The city owns three garages and four lots that charge fees. Many businesses have private parking, some of it in garages.
