How long does it take to rob a bank? Oregon cops look for man who hit 3 in 40 minutes
An Oregon bank robber struck three times — in 40 minutes, police say.
Portland police are looking for a man who they believe robbed three banks in the span of 40 minutes, according to a Portland Police Department news release.
Police responded to bank robberies at 1:52, 2:17 and 2:29 p.m.
“Officers were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported,” the news release said. “Investigators believe that the same adult male suspect is responsible for them, although his clothes appear to be different in one case.”
The man allegedly passed a note and did not show he had any weapons during the robberies, according to the news release.
Police ask that anyone with information about the suspect call the FBI at (503) 224-4181.
