Turlock police arrest bank robbery suspect

Turlock police arrested a 36-year-old man Thursday on suspicion of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. at the branch at 440 E. Olive Avenue, according to Officer Steve Rodrigues. The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note indicating he was robbing the bank.

He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and ran from the scene. No weapons were seen, Rodrigues said.

Officers responded to the area and found the suspect a few blocks away in the 400 Block of N. Golden State Boulevard.

The suspect, Dennis Khoshabow, of Turlock, was detained without incident. He was booked on suspicion of robbery.
