Boy reported missing found short time later in Turlock

A child reported missing early Saturday evening was found not long after, according to Turlock police, who had asked for the public’s help in locating the 10-year-old boy. He had walked away from his home around 2 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of North Tully Road in Turlock.

A release went out just before 5 p.m. Saturday alerting the public and seeking help in finding the boy. A second release was sent about two hours later from Turlock police Lt. Nino Amirfar that he had been found.

“According to mom, he has left, snuck out of the home five or six times prior, but was always located at various businesses near Walmart,” Amirfar said in the original press release.
