Turlock to host free business conference on economy, past and present

Turlock will host its third annual free business conference next month, offering a look at current conditions and the future economic outlook.

This year’s conference is scheduled for Friday, April 24, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at The Grand Oak, 1450 N. Soderquist Road in Turlock.

Attendees can expect insights on market conditions, emerging economic trends, retail analytics, shifting consumer behavior and business tools, along with potential changes that could affect operations in the coming years.

Featured speakers include Stanislaus State University economics professor Gokce Soydemir and Retail Strategies Community Partnerships Director Jessica Bohlen. A third speaker has yet to be announced.

Hosted by Turlock Mayor Amy Bublak, the event also will feature a Q&A session and networking opportunities with local business and community leaders. Light breakfast pastries and beverages will be provided.

Business owners, managers, executives, local government officials, retail and real estate professionals and students pursuing business-related fields are encouraged to attend. Registration is available online at tinyurl.com/turlockbizconf26.
