Want to open a business in Stanislaus? Turlock event will teach you how to get funding

An event will be held at the Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock to teach business owners and entrepreneurs about funding options.

The Small Business Funding Expo will take place Wednesday, Jan. 29, from noon to 1:30 p.m at 250 N. Broadway.

SBA loans, microloans, small-business loans and small-business credit will be discussed at the free event. Guest speakers include representatives from Mocse Credit Union, U.S. Bank, F&M Bank and Success Capital.

After the presentation, there will be more than 10 financial and business resource vendors, as well as time for business networking, according to a news release.

To register for the event, visit www.eventbrite.com. Search “Small Business Funding Expo” and set the location as Turlock, CA. It’s the first option after the website’s promoted events.
