Stanislaus County rejoice: Chick-fil-A is seeking approval to build. Here’s where
You’ve asked and hoped and wanted, Stanislaus County, and your wishes finally may be coming true.
Chick-fil-A is seeking approval to construct one of its fast-food restaurants in Turlock, according to Theis Realty Group.
The chicken spot would be just a few minutes down the freeway from Modesto, at 2630 W. Tuolumne Road.
When choosing a location, Chick-fil-A considers proximity to a freeway and parcel size to accommodate its long drive-thru, Modesto’s director of community and economic development, Jessica Hill, previously told The Bee.
The 2.46-acre Turlock parcel of land the restaurant is hoping to build on is on the Highway 99 frontage. Chick-fil-A wants a 4,977-square-foot restaurant with a two-lane drive-thru aisle “designed to optimize traffic flow and ensure efficient access to the site,” according to Theis Realty.
On-site improvements along West Tuolumne Road will consist of parking, paving, landscaping and site lighting, the group’s Instagram post said. Off-site improvements will include the instillation of a curb, gutter, sidewalks and street trees.
Off-site improvements along Countryside Drive will consist of landscaping. Curb, gutter and sidewalks have been previously installed, the post said.
