Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on Geer Road identified as Turlock man
The pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run collision on Monday night has been identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office.
William Hanson, 36, of Turlock, was hit by a white SUV that was traveling south in the 1200 block of Geer Road around 11:44 p.m.
Turlock police Sgt. Mike Parmley said it is unclear what Hanson was doing in the roadway. He died at the scene from his injuries.
No other information about the SUV or driver was available Wednesday.
