Name released of motorcyclist who died in Highway 99 crash in Turlock
The Twain Harte man who died when he crashed his motorcycle on Highway 99 in Turlock on Tuesday morning has been identified as 65-year-old Robert Morash.
Morash was riding a motorcycle in the center lane of northbound Highway 99 near Lander Avenue when for unknown reasons he veered to the right, crossing the slow lane then leaving the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle entered a dirt and grass area where it collided with a barbed-wire fence. Morash was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
