Deadline arrives for some Stanislaus County Fair exhibitors
Exhibitor deadlines for this summer’s Stanislaus County Fair are Thursday and May 28. Entry forms are due by 5 p.m.
Because of difficulties experienced by exhibit and livestock exhibitors online last week, fair officials extended the May 14 deadline to Thursday for only 4-H and FFA horse entries, junior livestock and still exhibits.
For 4-H and FFA exhibitors, Thursday is the deadline for FFA ag mechanics and junior industrial arts, ag horticulture (fruits and vegetables) and ornamental horticulture (flowers, plants and gardens).
For open junior and senior exhibitors, it is the deadline for home arts (foods and clothing/textiles), fine art and crafts, photography and open horse.
May 28 is the deadline for 4-H and FFA rabbits, poultry, cavies and dogs. It also is the deadline for open junior and senior ag horticulture, ornamental horticulture, and homemade wine and beer.
Another approaching deadline is June 4 for carriage driving classes.
The fair opens July 10 for a 10-day run. Discounted admission tickets, unlimited-ride wristbands and season passes are on sale through July 9 at 7 p.m. To learn more, visit the fair’s website, www.stancofair.com.
