Bicyclist killed when struck by vehicle on Turlock's Lander Avenue

A bicyclist was killed in Turlock on Wednesday night when he was struck by a vehicle on Lander Avenue, authorities said.

At 11 p.m., the man was riding while carrying a box attempting to cross the street mid-block just south of Linwood Avenue when he rode in front of a vehicle traveling south on Lander, according to Lt. Neil Cervenka.
