Turlock man identified as driver in fatal crash near Foster Farms

The man who died when he crashed his pickup into a power pole Thursday afternoon was identified as a 55-year-old Turlock resident.

Steven Johnson was driving north on Paulson Road south of downtown Turlock when he crashed into the pole just past a bend in the road near a Foster Farms turkey facility.

Johnson died at the scene.
