What happens when teen dating goes bad will be the topic of a free presentation Thursday by the Modesto Junior College Civic Engagement Project and Haven Women’s Center.
The Healthy and Responsible Relationship Troupe of Enochs High School will address adolescent relationship abuse in what the organizers are calling a Public Service Announcement Release Party.
The 6:30-8:30 p.m. event will be in east campus Forum 110 and cover the warning signs of dating abuse and ways to create healthier relationships.
There also will be information about starting a HARRT club or program at middle school, high school or college campuses.
February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month. The Enochs HARRT team has also offered presentations on the topic of healthier relationships in high school health classes.
