Patterson High invites grads and community members to join in school centennial celebrations being held Labor Day weekend.

“You don’t need to be a Patterson High graduate to attend; in fact, alumni organizers are hoping to track down former teachers, administrators or their descendants to share stories and reminisce,” said Patterson Joint Unified Superintendent Phil Alfano.

The Patterson High Alumni website, http://pattersonalumni.com, has details, tickets and commemorative T-shirts.

Festivities start Sept. 4, with a 5 p.m. alumni get-together at the Patterson Masonic Lodge for $10 a ticket, available from the Lions, Rotary and Gridiron clubs.

Sept. 4 is also a home game night, with the Tigers playing Ripon High starting at 5 p.m. in the Patterson High stadium (game ticket required). From 7-7:30 p.m., there will be a Parade of Decades at the stadium, at which alumni are invited to march around the stadium field before the varsity game singing the original Patterson High fight song.

Sept. 5 will include a morning alumni golf tournament at Diablo Grande Golf Club ($50), and an evening centennial program and tri-tip dinner ($30) at 6 p.m. From noon to 6 p.m. will be a Patterson High open house with student-led campus tours and student clubs hosting fundraising food booths.
