Beyer High Patriots march for diplomas as graduation days kick off

Beyer High Patriots march across the graduation stage at Modesto Junior College stadium. Balloons, bouquets and mortar boards will be all around this week as area high schools wave goodbye to their senior classes.

Beyer’s Class of 2015 bowed out Thursday night, as did the grads of Davis and Downey high schools in Modesto, Pitman High in Turlock, Patterson High and Valley Charter High in Modesto.

Friday, “Pomp and Circumstance” will peel for grads at Enochs, Johansen, Gregori and Modesto highs in Modesto; Turlock High, Waterford High, Orestimba High in Newman, Denair High and Hughson High.

Graduates of other schools will march across the stage next week. Escalon High grads will march June 5. In Ceres, Central Valley High graduation is June 4 and Ceres High’s day is June 5. Merced Union High School District high schools will be graduating June 4.

Delhi High seniors will walk June 5. Oakdale and Riverbank high schools have already packed away the folding chairs, having held their graduations May 22.
