Drug user in Turlock shoots teen who tried to shoo him away
A 16-year-old boy who tried to drive off a drug user was shot in the leg on the 200 block of H Street in south Turlock on Monday morning, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.
The shooting occurred about 8:30, and the victim was taken to an emergency room with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The teen was in front of a residence when he saw a man using drugs and told him to leave. The man, who pulled out a gun and shot the youth, fled before deputies arrived.
The suspect is described as white, 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-6 and thin. He is bald, with tattoos on his neck. He was wearing a black shirt and blue shorts.
