Suspects sought in Modesto liquor store robbery

Modesto police are looking for two men who robbed the BevMo! store in the Target shopping center at 3900 Sisk Road recently.

Two men – one black, one Latino – entered the store May 20 at about 9:30 p.m., half an hour before closing time. They picked up multiple cases of liquor, said Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Heather Graves, and were leaving the store when employees confronted them.

The Latino suspect showed that he had a handgun in the waistband of his pants. No physical description was available beyond what can be seen in the photographs.
