Suspects sought after two people shot in Empire

Two people were shot Tuesday morning in Empire, authorities said.

Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting, which took place on Yosemite Boulevard at Leek Road. According to the Sheriff’s Department, two victims were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries was not clear.

No suspects had been identified or arrested.
